Q:  What is the relationship between HT and HRBQC?
A:  All the products provided by HT are under the registered brand HRBQC.

Q:Why the bearings price are not stable?
A:The exchange rate, freight, and also the raw materials are not very stable, so the price are changing in a high frequency.
The final price normally come out when the clients real make the order, and then the manufacturers can calculate the final price for clients.

Q:  How many kinds of bearing quality in the global market?
A:  Ormally can segment to 3 kinds of bearing quality in the global market. They are High quality bearings, Normal quality bearings, and also low quality bearings. Most of Europe clients want high quality bearings, that we provide them by steel material of Cr15SiMn. The steel material contain Si and Mn can increase penetrability of bearings.
Nomal quality bearing are made by Material Cr15, which is the most popular in the world, and also standard bearing for most of clients choosing.
Low quality products are made by carbonize steel materials, which is the kind of clients are looking for low price products which are most popular in Africa countries.

Q:  How much grease should I fill my bearing with?
A:  As a rule of thumb, never more than 30%. If however your application is very high load and very low RPM then a greater grease fill may be beneficial. You should NEVER fill a bearing totally with grease as it will almost certainly hydraulically lock, especially if the bearing undergoes a relatively quick start up acceleration. If the grease cannot escape then it stops the rolling elements moving (you cannot compress a liquid).

Q:  What is the best way to maintain my bearings?
A:  1) Soak your bearings in mineral spirits or paint thinner to remove any grease or particulants.
2) Blow bearing out with compressed air.
3) Place a light drop of oil on the bearing.
4) Give the bearing a spin, if they still feel rough repeat steps 1-3.
Please Note: Ultra-Sonic or other cleaning devices work well, but we find that the above steps are the best way to completely dissolve the dirt that gets under the retainer.

Q:  Can bearings be refurbished?
A:  As a general rule, for small bearings it is uneconomic but for larger sizes (8 inch bore and above) there could potentially be economic advantages. Example bearings include slewing rings, cylindrical roller bearings and spherical roller bearings. So long as upon examination, wear is not too excesive, refurbishment is an option.

Q:  How do I know when my bearing needs replacing before it causes a catastrophic failure?
A:  Bearing failure of the catastrophic nature is usually very rare. In cases where a foreign object is introduced or the bearing is running near its design speed limit, then it is potentially possible. A bearing's life can be calculated using various factors. If you require help in life calculations contact HRBQC. We can provide an unbiassed assessment of your application and its effects on bearings.

Q: When should I replace my bearings?
A: If you have gone through the cleaning steps outlined above and your bearings begin to feel gritty or notchie to the touch, they should be replaced. When bearings sit idle for a long time, they must be protected from any and all moisture. This is a common problem when storing small RC engines. If any moisture has gotten to the bearings, they will need to be replaced before using the engine again.

Q:  I have an aerospace application which I can no longer source bearings for. What are my options?
A:  Depending on the application, you would normally have to consult the OEM of the assembly into which your bearing fits. They will have total design authority over this kind of situation. Before you do contact them though, have a word with HRBQC as we will be able to suggest suitable alternatives with which you can approach the OEM, ie instead of giving them a problem and no potential solution, you can give them both.
